In addition to the 3.167 grade-point average, 34 Spartan student-athletes finished the semester with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. Overall 145 student-athletes, making up over 64 percent, achieved a 3.0 GPA or above for the semester.

"Our student-athletes continue to impress me every semester with their performances in the classroom," said Dr. Susan Kolb, Academic Advisor for Student Athletes. "Business, exercise science and nursing are three of the most popular degrees within our student-athletes, and each of these degrees require extraordinary focus in order for them to be successful. We ask our student-athletes to excel in the classroom, be champions on the field, and be leaders on campus. I'm proud of the work they have accomplished this spring."
