Spartanburg, S.C. - The USC Upstate volleyball team spent part of the afternoon of Sept. 27 at D.R. Middle School to speak to the students about the important of academics.
Nicole Mason, a career development specialist at D.R. Hill, invited the team to campus to speak to more than 90 seventh-graders about commitment in the classroom and how work ethic and proper choices determine success in the classroom.
The Upstate volleyball team was able to give a sneak peek into their lives and how work ethic and time management is such a key aspect on a daily basis.
