2011 Indoor:Won his third-career A-Sun championship in the 5,000 meter run, posting a time of 14:43.81 to set a new conference record...His record-setting time surpassed the previous record-setting mark, which was set by ETSU's Kenneth Rotich in 2008 when he won the title with a time of 14:44.15...Posted a silver medal finish in the 3,000-meter run at the 2011 A-Sun Indoor Championships, crossing the finish line in 8:26.31... kemboi's efforts helped the Upstate men's track team double its point total from last year's championships, amassing 90 points, while helping the Spartans to a fourth-place finish overall...Posted the top two times of the Atlantic Sun Season, recording a time of 8:24.08 in the 3,000-meter run at the JRF Combined Events Invitational (1/28/11), which was good enough for a second-place finish in the event...Also posted an A-Sun season best time in the Niswonger Invitational (2/5/11) in the 5,000-meter run, finishing in second place in the event with a time of 14:36.46...That time is also good enough for 47th in all of NCAA Division this season...Claimed His second A-Sun men's track "Athlete of the Week" (2/9/11) award following his performance at the Niswonger Invitational.  

2010 XC:Finished as the Atlantic Sun Runner-of-the-Year...Garnered First-Team All A-Sun Honors...Recorded a personal best time of 23:22.28 at the Greater Louisville Classic...Claimed Individual crown at the A-Sun Conference Meet (10/30), posting a time of 24:00.84 in the 8K race...Featured in the Oct. 4, 2010 edition of Sports Illustrated in the "Faces In The Crowd" section.
