SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Playing their best baseball since a six-game win streak in late February, USC Upstate, which jumped 14 spots in the WarrenNolan.com RPI thanks to four wins last week, will head into a treacherous midweek looking to continue their hot play in games at No. 5 South Carolina on Tuesday before heading to No. 26 Clemson on Wednesday.

Senior Jimmy Tanner also heads into the two-game set looking to leave his permanent mark on the USC Upstate baseball program, as he needs just one more hit to pass John Caddell (2004-07) for first on the all-time hits list. Tanner posted six hits over the weekend against Campbell to tie the mark with his last hit, a three-run homer for his 241st career hit, on Saturday.
