SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Following a winter storm making its way through the State of South Carolina Saturday afternoon, the USC Upstate baseball contest scheduled for Sunday afternoon against Georgetown has been cancelled.

The Spartans opened the season with a decisive 23-6 victory over Niagara Friday evening, but have been sidelined since, seeing Saturday's action against Kentucky postponed and now Sunday' game against Georgetown cancelled.

Upstate will now turn its attention to Monday and a 1 p.m. matchup with No. 8 Kentucky at Harley Park. The game will be broadcasted live on ASun.TV.
