Updated Schedule

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – With rain covering the state of South Carolina Friday, the USC Upstate baseball weekend schedule against George Washington has been altered with the two clubs set to play a Saturday doubleheader.

The Spartans were slated to open a three-game series Friday afternoon at Harley Park against George Washington, but due to rain in the area, Friday's series-opener has been postponed and a doubleheader has been scheduled for Saturday afternoon.

Game one of the doubleheader will start at 1 p.m., followed by game two, which will be a 7-inning affair. Upstate and George Washington will play the weekend finale Sunday at 1 p.m.

Both Saturday games will be featured on ASun.TV and all three weekend contests can be followed with live in-game statistics on the PrestoSports Primetime Network.
