SPARTANBURG, S.C. – After recording his third consecutive double-double with an impressive performance against Coastal Georgia, Ricardo Glenn has been named the College Sports Madness A-Sun Player of the Week as announced by the website Monday afternoon.
The Double-doubles keep pouring in for Upstate's big man who tallied 15 points and 12 rebounds against Coastal Georgia to lead the Spartans to their 11th straight win in the Hodge Center.
Glenn also tallied December double-doubles on the road at Baylor with 15 points and 10 rebounds, before a 13-point 10-rebound performance at Tennessee State.
Glenn ranks second in the Atlantic Sun Conference with 8.4 rebounds per contest, while his .614 field goal percentage is also the second-best in the league. Over his last three games, Glenn has shot 79 percent from the field, going 19-for-24 from the floor.
Glenn and the Spartans return to action Wednesday, Jan. 2 as they welcome Hampton University to town for the final non-conference game of the regular season. Upstate will look to win back-to-back games for the second time this season and run its home winning streak to 12 consecutive games with a victory over the Pirates.
