Women’s Basketball Adds Panufnik for 2018-19 Season

Spartanburg, S.C. – USC Upstate head women's basketball coach Tammy George has announced the addition of Natalia Panufnik for the 2018-19 season. Panufnik joins the Spartan family after playing at Casper College in Casper, Wyo. 

"We are excited to welcome Natalia to our basketball family," George said. "She comes from a very successful program at Casper College. Her versatility will be a welcomed addition to our program." 

In 2017-18, Panufnik saw action in 21 games as she averaged 7.9 points per game and 4.5 rebounds as Casper College claimed the Region IX championship. In 2016-17, she started 26 of 30 games played and averaged 8.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

Panufnik hails from Wolomin, Poland. She was on the roster for Poland's U20 team at the women's European Championship in 2016.
