Hall, Lowe Lead Upstate in Final Round of A-Sun Championships
New Smyrna Beach, Fla. – Amanda Hall and Brittany Lowe, who helped lead the USC Upstate women’s golf team throughout the year, paced the Spartans in the final round of the A-Sun Women’s Championships Wednesday, each carding a 79 at Venetian Bay Golf Club.

New Smyrna Beach, Fla. – USC Upstate’s Amanda Hall continued to play solid golf and is tied for 15th at the A-Sun Championships at the Venetian Bay Golf Club Tuesday afternoon. The Spartans shot their second-straight 316 and is ninth heading into the final round Wednesday.

New Smyrna Beach, Fla. – Sophomore Amanda Hall opened the 2012 A-Sun Women’s Golf Championship at Venetian Bay Golf Club Monday with a solid 3-over-par 75 and is tied for 10th individually to the lead USC Upstate cause in the first round of the tournament. Hall’s effort allowed Upstate to finish the first round in sixth place.

Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. – Sophomore Amanda Hall posted a team-best 73 in the final round of the Marsh Landing Invitational to move up on the leaderboard and claim a top 25 finish Tuesday afternoon at the Marsh Landing Country Club. Upstate finished 10th in the tournament after posting its best round of the event.

2011 Women's Golf Fall Recap
Spartanburg, S.C. – In the second year in rebuilding the team, head coach Todd Lawton certainly has seen his progress pay off. The Spartans turned in their second-lowest fall scoring average in its five seasons playing on the Division I level, and are doing so with three sophomores and two freshmen in the lineup. After playing five tournaments and wrapping up the fall season, it is time to recap the fall as the team takes a break and gets set for the spring season.

Waynesville, N.C. – Rachel Lewis turned in a 1-under-par 71 in the final round of the Great Smokies Intercollegiate at the Waynesville Inn and Golf Club Tuesday afternoon and finished 15th individually to lead the USC Upstate women’s golf team. The Spartans finished 14th out of 23 teams in the event.

Spartanburg, S.C. – Entering the first season with the ability to advance to NCAA Regionals, USC Upstate head coach Todd Lawton has announced the fall schedules for both the men's and women's golf programs.
