2011: Played in 19
contests and started 18 games for the Spartans as a true
freshman… Named to A-Sun All-Freshman Team… Put
together statistically the best NCAA Division I era season in
Upstate women’s soccer history with five goals and three
assists for 13 total points… Recorded the third hat trick in
program history and first in the D-I era against Alabama State
(9/11)… Tallied another multi-goal game on the road at
Stetson (10/16) and recorded her first collegiate assist for five
total points in the contest… Assisted in each of
Upstate’s first two goals in a 3-2 victory over VMI
(9/25)… Her five goals and three assists are both D-I era
records, while her 13 points are also the most since the program
entered the A-Sun in 2007.
Before USC
Upstate: A three-sport athlete at Elk Grove High
School… Served as a team captain for the soccer team for
three seasons for head coach Dan Klaus… Led the conference
in goals (22) and assists (10) as a junior… Earned
First-Team All-Conference and First-Team All-Section honors after
strong junior campaign… Was also a Daily Herald
All-Area selection… Totaled 23 goals and six assists as a
senior en route to First-Team All-Conference and First-Team
All-Section honors… Also picked up Daily Herald
All-Area honors… Played three seasons of varsity
basketball… Was part of the cross country team for two years
(freshman and sophomore) and set course records at Elk Grove's home
facility each year… Played club soccer for the Aces Elite
Soccer Academy, ranked the seventh best club team in the state of
Illinois… Led the team in scoring three consecutive
years… Also coached youth soccer and served as a volunteer
for the Special Olympics.
