Spartans Have Standout Performances at Raleigh Relays, Winthrop Invitational

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate track and field teams set one school record and recorded multiple top-10 finishes this weekend as student-athletes competed at the Raleigh Relays as well as the Winthrop Invitational.

Noteworthy
- Tanner Saunders finished third in the 400-meter hurdles with a school-record time of 52.85.
- Patrick Jamison finished 10th in the 200-meter dash. Jamison's time of 22.02 is the second-fastest in school history.

Noteworthy
- Noah Walker won the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.11. Walker finished sixth in the 400-meter hurdles.
- Desman Martin was the runner-up in the triple jump.
- Ronald Collins, Jr. finished in fourth place in the 110-meter hurdles and ninth place in the 400-meter hurdles.
- Amun Jackson finished in sixth place in the 110-meter hurdles.
- Darius Marshall scored a sixth place finish in the long jump.
- Alex Love finished in seventh place in the 5,000-meter run.
- Benjamin Bapuopeleh finished ninth in the triple jump.
- Kalyn Brown finished second in the shot put as well as the discus.
- Breondra Steele finished third in the high jump, third in the long jump and fifth in the triple jump.
- Jazmine Burse finished in 10th in the 110-meter hurdles.
