Clinton, S.C. – The USC Upstate men's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision in non-conference play to the Presbyterian College Blue Hose on Wednesday evening from Edens Field at Martin Stadium.
Upstate falls to 0-3 on the season while Presbyterian College improves to 1-1 overall.
STATS OF THE MATCH
- The Blue Hose held a 14-10 advantage over the Spartans in shots including an 8-3 mark in attempts on-net.
- Upstate led 5-2 in saves.
- Both teams attempted a total of eight corner kicks in the contest.
- Calon Minors attempted a team-high three shots for the Spartans while Sebastian Quinteros and Michelangelo Dovidio took two each.

- The Blue Hose scored the equalizer in the 41st minute and tied the Spartans 1-1 following a goal by Andrew Miller-Bell with Nemanja Zivanovic picking up the assist. (USC Upstate 1, Presbyterian College 1)
- Sergio Pinto gave Presbyterian College a 2-1 lead in the 52nd minute, scoring from 18 yards out after receiving a pass by Ricardo Hernandez. (USC Upstate 1, Presbyterian College 2)
- The Blue Hose extended their lead over Upstate to 3-1 in the 63rd minute when Menudier connected on a header following a corner kick. (USC Upstate 1, Presbyterian College 3)
