Holton, Saunders Claim Event Wins at Charlotte Invitational

Charlotte, N.C. – The USC Upstate track & field teams posted a pair of event wins, along with a school record in the women's 200-meter dash, at the Charlotte Invitational held at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Center this weekend.
Noteworthy
- Sarah Hill finished in second place in the 200-meter dash in a school-record time of 24.21. She finished in seventh place in the 400-Meter dash.
- Kennedy Holton won the women's 400-Meter Hurdles and finished in third place in the women's 100-Meter Hurdles.
- Tanner Saunders and Noah Walker led a 1-2 USC Upstate finish in the 400-Meter Hurdles.
- Adanma Uzor finished in second place in the triple jump and fourth place in the Long Jump.
- The women's 4x100-Meter Relay team finished in second place.
- Roman Mealing finished in fourth place in the 800-meter run.
- Jaquille Mosley finished in fourth place in the javelin throw followed by Tashaun Wallace in sixth place.
- Saunders, Walker and Lonnie Morton finished in fifth, seventh and eighth place, respectively, in the 110-Meter Hurdles.
- Collins Livinus finished in fifth place in the 400-Meter Dash.
- Terry Newell recorded a pair of top-10 finishes in the 100-Meter Dash and 200-Meter Dash.
