UPSTATE – With 6:07 to play in the game USC Upstate was holding on to a 58-57 advantage over the UNC Asheville Bulldogs. Presbyterian – Presbyterian is 8-13 overall this season and 5-3 in Big South Conference competition.
The Blue Hose have lost two straight games coming into Thursday night's matchup. In their most recent game the Spartans lost 72-57 to Winthrop on Saturday afternoon. Chris Martin led the team with 13-points off the bench, not a single starter reached double-figures for the Blue Hose in the loss.
