Series History
This is the sixth all-time meeting between USC Upstate and High Point University. The Panthers took the overall series lead at 3-2 after a 70-62 road victory over USC Upstate. High Point has now won two straight in the series dating back to last season. The Spartans last win in the series came in a 78-57 victory on January 12, 1983. USC Upstate has never won at High Point.

Bryson Mozone had a 14-point, 14-rebound outing and
Nevin Zink had 13-points and 11-rebounds in a win over Charleston Southern on Monday night. Former Spartans
Deion Holmes and
Malik Moore were the last to accomplish the feat in a 110-106 double overtime loss to Lipscomb on January 29, 2018.
High Point – The Panthers are currently riding a three-game losing streak after a 66-63 loss to Charleston Southern on Thursday evening. High Point had three players end the night in double figures, including John-Michael Wright who finished with a 14-point, 10-rebound performance against the Buccaneers.

Everette Hammond had a career high 9-assists in the victory and starting point guard
Dalvin White cashed in with a career high 13-points.
High Point – John-Michael Wright leads the team in points (14.2), rebounds (125), assists (54) and steals (21). Curtis Holland III is second on the team in points with 12.7 points per game this season.
