ATLANTA, Ga. – The ASUN Conference announced the Women's Tennis 2010-2019 All-Decade Team and USC Upstate alum Isabel von Stryk (Holm, Germany) earned a spot on the list.
A native of Holm, Germany, von Stryk played for USC Upstate from 2012-2015 and was a First Team All-ASUN selection in both 2014 and 2015. Von Stryk is one of just two players in school history to be named All-ASUN in back-to-back seasons. In 2012, von Stryk earned Second Team All-ASUN honors and an ASUN All-Freshman Team accolade. The former Spartan standout also picked up an ASUN Player of the Week nod and an All-Academic team accolade.
In her final season at USC Upstate, von Stryk won 15 singles matches at the top flight, tying her for the 10
th-most wins in a single season in program history. Von Stryk's 47 singles wins are the second most in school history. In doubles action, von Stryk is tied for the fifth- most wins with 39 victories in her career.
To be named to the All-Decade Team an individual must have competed for at least two years in the decade as an ASUN student-athlete. Individuals that obtained one of the following criteria were named to the team; three First Team All-Conference selections (Singles), four All-Conference selections (Singles) or multiple Scholar-Athlete/Player of the Year honors. Individuals that obtained at least two of the following criteria were also named to the team; Player/Freshman/Scholar-Athlete of the Year or three All-Conference selections (Singles).
USC Upstate was a member of the ASUN Conference from 2007-18. The Spartans joined the Big South Conference on July 1, 2018.
