Series History
The Spartans will be looking to continue their winning streak against the Runnin' Bulldogs this week as Upstate has taken the last five matches between the two teams. Overall, Upstate holds the 7-5 advantage in the all-time series dating back to 2009. Most recently, the Spartans took down the Bulldogs in four sets on the road back on Nov. 9, 2019.

Upstate – Briana Strobert leads the Spartans with 25 kills out of 74 attempts with an average of 2.08 per set. Kelly Wiedemann has recorded six service aces so far this season, which ranks sixth in the Big South. Nikki Deslatte and Alexis Mareko both rank in the top-10 of the conference with 13.0 blocks each. Mackenzie Marcum has racked up a team-high 34 digs on the year.
Gardner-Webb – Gardner-Webb's OH/Libero Mikah McIntosh leads the Bulldogs with 24 kills and 36 digs so far this season. Tori Weatherley has a team-high 69 assists while Alexandria Roycraft leads with 14.0 blocks.
