Upstate Looks to Even the Season Series with Presbyterian College

Series History
This is the 30th all-time meeting between USC Upstate and Presbyterian, with the Bluehose holding a 16-14 overall advantage in the series lead. Presbyterian won the series opener between the two programs on Monday night with a 75-65 win over the Spartans. USC Upstate will look to split the season series tonight against the Bluehose.

Ones to Watch
Upstate – This season Tommy Bruner (Columbia, S.C.) and Everette Hammond (Silver Springs, Md.) are once again at the top of the scoring column for the Spartans. Bruner is averaging a team best 14.2 points per game and has posted a team best 73 assists on the season. Hammond is second on the team this year with 12.3 points per contest. Dalvin White (Norcross, Ga.) is coming off a great outing against Campbell, the junior guard averaged 9.5 points, 4.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game last week. Nevin Zink (Newtown, Conn.) averaged 10.5 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per contest against the Camels.
 
Presbyterian – The Bluehose have a pair of players averaging double-figures this year in Rayshon Harrison and Winston Hill. Harrison is currently averaging 16.3 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game, 1.8 assists per game and he leads the team with 23 steals. Winston is averaging 12.5 points per game and is leading the team with 6.4 rebounds per contest.

The Spartans will stay on the road this coming Monday as they travel to Charleston Southern for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.
