Players to Watch
Upstate: AC Markham had her best game of the season so far as she led the Spartans in points (11), while setting a new career-high and season-high for points. Markham accompanied those 11 points with six rebounds and two assists. The lone returning Spartan had essentially a perfect game as she went 5-5 for field goals and 100% for free throws. Jeni Levine also had an impressive performance as she also set a new career-high for scoring with 10 points along with two rebounds and one assist. Although she didn't post her usual scoring numbers, Isabella Geraci did post 10 rebounds along with seven points, one assist, one block, and one steal.

Geraci and Markham have been consistent pieces in the Spartans starting line-up this season. Jeni Levine and Rebekah Gordon have worked their way into the starting line-up since the Morehead State game (12/12/22). Trinity Johnson worked her way back into the starting line-up since the Morehead State game (12/12/22) after being out for an injury that occurred in the season opener against Southern Wesleyan (11/7/22). Geraci leads the Spartans this season with 91 points, 65 rebounds, eight assists, one block, and 19 steals.

UNC Chapel Hill: Kennedy Todd-Williams and Eva Hodgson led the Tar Heels with 20 points each against Wofford College. Both Todd-Williams and Hodgson went 100% from the free throw line. Alyssa Ustby earned her fourth double-double of the season in the game against the Terriers with 17 points and 12 rebounds.  Todd-William and Utsby lead the Tarheels with 134 points each; Todd-Williams also has 49 rebounds, 14 assists, 11 steals, and five blocks. Ustby has collected 80 rebounds, 22 assists, 11 steals, and 11 blocks this season.
