SPARTANBURG, S.C. – USC Upstate continued its regular season battles as it fell 57-31 to the Monarchs of Old Dominion at home on Saturday afternoon.

A set of free throws from both sides and a Monarch field goal made the game 13-6 in favor of the opposition to begin the second quarter. Upstate then went on a five-point run to put the game within a one basket difference, as Isabella Geraci made a pair of free-throws and a three pointer off on ODU turnover. ODU extended the lead back to seven points until Rebekah Gordon sunk one in the paint. The Spartans went into halftime trailing ODU 23-13. At the break Isabella Geraci led the Spartans with five points, one steal, and two rebounds, along with Rebekah Gordon who scored five points, made one rebound, had one assist and one steal.
