SPARTANBURG, S.C. – USC Upstate continued its 2022 season by competing in the Firetower Project Run hosted by App State in Boone, N.C. on Friday afternoon.   
 
In the men's 8K race, senior Noah White set the pace once again and cracking the top-20 for a second straight meet with a time of 26:15.34. Nigel Dos Santos also improved his time from last year finishing at 27:17.68.

In the women's 5K race, junior Heaven Allen led the Spartans and finished 23rd overall while setting a new personal best for the second straight meet with a time of 18:36.76. Elise Wilcher also ran exceptionally well, cutting her time from the Eye Opener by almost two minutes and finishing with a time of 20:19.53.
