Series History
A matchup featuring two ASUN transplants competing as Big South foes, Wednesday's meeting between USC Upstate and Campbell marks the 17th all-time meeting between the two programs in the Spartans' Division I era (2007-pres.). The Camels lead the series 11-5 and have taken each of the last three meetings in the series, including an 80-71 win at the G.B. Hodge Center last season. The Spartans' last victory in the series came on Feb. 1, 2020, a 91-74 victory in Spartanburg.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: With 12 points in each of Upstate's games last week, freshman guard Justin Bailey extended his streak of double-figure scoring games during Big South play to four—the longest double-figure scoring streak of his young career. He enters Wednesday's game leading all league freshmen during conference play, averaging 13.3 points per game while shooting 51.5 percent (17-of-33) from the field and adding 3.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. On the season, he's tallied eight double-figure scoring games.
 
Campbell: Coming off his second 20-plus point scoring game of the season with 21 points versus UNC Asheville last Saturday, guard Ricky Clemons represents the Camels' leading scorer—one of four Camels averaging 10 or more points per game this season. He enters Wednesday's game averaging 12.8 points and 3.6 rebounds per game, shooting 52.5 percent (62-of-118) from the floor while leading Campbell with 53 assists this season.
