Series History
Continuing a series that began as USC Upstate joined the Big South ahead of the 2018-19 season, Upstate and Radford are meeting for the eighth time in the Spartans' Division I era (2007-pres) Saturday afternoon. The Spartans are coming off their first win in the series, downing the Highlanders 65-60 on Jan. 4. Radford enters the game leading the series 6-1.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Behind 15 second-half points—the highest scoring second half of his career—freshman guard Justin Bailey scored a career-high 17 points against Gardner-Webb, securing his sixth double-figure scoring game and third scoring 16 or more points in Big South play. Playing a career-high-tying 31 minutes versus the Runnin' Bulldogs, he tied career-highs in field goals and free throws made, making five and six, respectively. On the season, he's averaging just shy of double-figures at 9.9 points per game.
 
Radford: Scoring in double-figures in 10 straight games, including in each of the Highlanders' Big South games, guard DaQuan Smith enters as Radford's leading scorer at 13.2 points per game. In league play, he's upped his scoring average to 16.0 points per game with two 20-point scoring games in Big South play.
