Series History
Saturday's game between USC Upstate and High Point marks the ninth all-time meeting between the programs in the Spartans' Division I era (2007-pres.) as each meeting has come since Upstate joined the Big South ahead of the 2018-19 season. The Panthers lead the series 5-3 with the team's splitting each of the previous five meetings after High Point captured the first three. The Spartans won at the Hodge last season as Dalvin White lifted Upstate with a three in the final seconds.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Tying a season-high with 14 points—posting the scoring total for the second straight game—senior forward Khydarius Smith paced a quartet of double-figure scorers against Radford. During Big South play, he's averaging 10.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game while shooting 75.0 percent (15-of-20) from the field. On the season, he's posted seven double-figure scoring games, averaging 7.8 points per game and shooting 57.5 percent (50-of-87) from the floor.
 
High Point: Scoring in double-figures in 17 straight games, including all 15 this season, guard Jaden House enters Saturday's game as the Panthers' leading scorer at 20.0 points per game, averaging 15.3 points per game during league play. He's shooting 44.1 percent (98-of-222) from the field this season as he's nearly a third of his scoring from the free throw line with 90 makes from the charity stripe this year.
