USC Upstate Set to Take on High Point in its First Big South Road Game of the Season

Series History 

USC Upstate and High Point have matched up 10 times since their original meeting during the 2012-2013 season. The Spartans trail the overall series 10-0 which includes six home games and four away games, seven of which were conference games. Most recently Upstate fell 75-59 to the Panthers in High Point during the 2021-2022 season.

Players to Watch 
Upstate: Isabella Gerci not only had her sixth game scoring in double-figures but also tied her season-high for points with the 17 she scored against the Highlanders. Trinity Johnson also earned her third game scoring in double figures (11) while also recording a season-high seven rebounds. Talia Roldan assisted the Spartans' offense with nine points, as did Rebekah Gordon who contributed eight points and seven rebounds. 

Upstate has maintained a consistent line up the last six games with Isabella Geraci, Rebekah Gordon, Trinity Johnson, Jeni Levine, and AC Markham on the floor. Geraci and Markham are the only two Spartans to start all 13 contests so far for the Spartans.  

High Point: Jordan Edwards had her best game of the season as she led the Panthers with new season-highs for points (15), minutes (31), field goals made/attempted (5-10), and three-point field goals made/attempted (3-5). Claire Wyatt (14) and Jenson Edwards (12) also finished the game scoring in double-figures while Skyler Curran recorded nine rebounds.
