SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- The USC Upstate men's soccer team returns home for the first time since September 12 as they are set to host the Presbyterian Blue Hose Saturday afternoon.

How They Stack UP:
USC Upstate (3-5-1, 0-1-1 Big South) vs Presbyterian (4-5-1, 1-0-1 Big South) with one common opponent between the two teams in ETSU. The Spartans fought to a 2-2 draw with the Buccaneers while the Blue Hose fell at home by a score of 2-1.
Series:
The Spartans lead the overall series 9-5-1, with a 5-3 win in Spartanburg last season. Presbyterian hasn't come away with a victory in Spartanburg since the 2008 season. Upstate holds a 3-2 lead in the series as Big South opponents, but neither team has been able to string more than one win together since the Spartans held a three-match win streak from 2014-16.

Players to Watch:
The Spartans will look to produce offensively and will rely on Braiden Hall and Jeremy Montero to do so. Hall has eight shots over the last two matches and a goal to go along with it, while Montero holds the team lead in goals, points, shots and shots on goal. Cooper Jennings has picked up two shutout victories in his last two starts in Spartanburg.
Presbyterian is lead offensively by Victor Christensen Faaborg, who has four goals and two assists on the year while only taking ten shots so far. Diego Hernandez leads the Blue Hose with 20 shots on the year. In the net, Presbyterian has recently played both James Dee and Beatty Murray, but the freshman Murray holds the most minutes and saves on the season.
Last Time Out:
The Spartans are coming into the match after taking a 2-0 loss in Greenville at the hands of the Furman Paladins.
Similarly, Presbyterian is coming in after a 2-0 loss of their own after falling at home to the Wofford Terriers.
