Players to Watch 
USC Upstate: Rebekah Gordon had another stellar performance in the Spartans' first ever matchup against the Samford Bulldogs. Gordon had her fifth game of the season scoring in double-figures as she posted 14 points, three rebounds, and two steals against Samford. Alongside Gordon, Trinity Johnson played well on Thursday night as she scored 15 points, made four rebounds, had one steal, and was credited for seven assists. Gordon leads the Spartans offense with 99 points, averaging 11.0 points per game, while Johnson finds herself in national rankings for assists (9th; 49) and assists per game (17th; 6.1). 

Western Carolina: Jada Burton led Western Carolina on offense against Presbyterian with nine points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals. The Catamounts are led overall by Lonasia Brewer with 76 points, 44 rebounds, 21 assists, six steals, and three blocks. Brewer has had four games scoring in double-figures with her season-high of 17 points scored in Western Carolina's 69-58 win over N.C. Central. She averages 9.5 points per game along with 5.5 rebounds per game.

Gameday Parking  
Fans attending USC Upstate basketball games in the coming weeks will notice a change in parking options. Parking for the general public will only be available in front of the Hodge Center as the rows adjacent to the building on the University Way side are closed due to renovation work to the Hodge Center roof. VIP parking for donors entering the Champions Suite behind the Arena is unaffected. Parking is free for all USC Upstate basketball games and the closure of the side lots around the building will be in effect indefinitely.
