Series History
USC Upstate and High Point have matched up 11 times since their original meeting during the 2012-2013 season. The Spartans trail the overall series 10-1 which includes six home games and five away games, eight of which were conference matchups. Most recently Upstate got its first win over High Point in January of the 2023 season. The Spartans beat the Panthers 62-60 with Talia Roldan (13), Isabella Geraci (12), Rebekah Gordon (11) and AC Markham (11) all scoring in double-figures.

Players to Watch
Upstate: Rebekah Gordon led the Spartans in their battle against the Longwood Lancers on Wednesday night. Gordon scored 13 points, which was the fifth time in the last six games Gordon has finished the game scoring in double-figures. Fray-Chinn, Markham and Walker all contributed nine points each to Upstate's 64 total points while Markham led in rebounds (8) and Fray-Chinn set a new season-high for steals (3).
Upstate maintained the starting lineup used to play Winthrop on Sunday, starting Isabella Geraci, Rebekah Gordon, Zora Fray-Chinn, Jeni Levine, and AC Markham. Geraci and Markham are the only two Spartans to start all 26 contests so far for the Spartans. Geraci leads the team for minutes played (826), points (260) three pointers (30), rebounds (183), and steals (46). Gordon helps lead the offense with 260 points, averaging 10.4 points per game and shooting .387% from the field. Along with Gordon and Geraci, Johnson (170), Roldan (113), Markham (159), and Jeni Levine (103) all sit with triple digit points on the season.
High Point: Skyler Curran led the Panthers to victory over the Blue Hose on Wednesday night with her second double-double of the season (17 pts., 10 reb.). Jenson Edwards (15) and Nakyah Terrell (13) also scored in double figures in Wednesday's game. Terrell also contributed eight rebounds to the Panthers total 34 rebounds. Curran leads the Panthers' stats with 369 points, 152 rebounds, 58 three-pointers, 53 free throws, 47 assists, 26 steals, and 15 blocks.
