Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Upstate has continued its successful conference slate with Trintiy Johnson and Isabell West helping to lead the charge. Johnson posted 23 points last week along with 11 rebounds, nine assists, and six steals to help the Spartans down one of its top Big South opponents. West had back-to-back games scoring in double figures for a combined 23 points as well as 12 rebounds, two assists, four steals, and one block. The graduate forward currently leads the team in scoring with 229 points, averaging 11.5 points per game, as well rebounds with 127, averaging 6.4 a game. Johnson continues to lead the team while sitting in national rankings for assists with 83.
Presbyterian: Bryanna Brady led the Blue Hose on offense in their 65-40 loss to the Highlanders of Radford on Saturday afternoon. Brady had her 16th game of the season scoring in double figures and her fifth consecutive game scoring in double figures with the 12 points she had on Saturday. Brady leads the team with 278 points, averaging 12.6 points per game, along with 93 rebounds, 31 assists, 18 blocks, and six steals.
