SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Closing out the team's three-game slate against foes from the Atlantic Coast Conference, USC Upstate men's basketball ends the trio of contests with a trip to (RV) Wake Forest Wednesday evening. Featuring a 7 p.m. ET tip-off, Wednesday's game marks the third all-time trip for the Spartans to Winston-Salem, N.C. and the team's first trip to The Triad in 2024-25.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: For the first time in his career, freshman guard Mister Dean captured Big South Freshman of the Week honors after leading the Spartans in scoring in all three games last week and ranking third in the league in scoring following the season's first week. He enters play Wednesday ranked second in the league in scoring and field goal percentage, scoring 19.7 points per game behind a 78.1 percent shooting clip. Through three games, he leads the Big South and ranks fifth nationally in made field goals, sinking 25.
 
Wake Forest: Picking up another preseason nod to an All-American Team, All-Conference Team, or Watch List, senior guard Hunter Sallis earned selection to the All-America Third Team by Sporting News Monday. He enters Wednesday's contest as the Demon Deacons leading scorer, averaging 14.0 points per game over 33.3 minutes per game as he's scored in double-figures in each of his three contests this season, including a season-high 18 markers versus Michigan Sunday.
