Women's Basketball Continues Four-Game Homestand, Welcoming Clinton College Monday for First-Ever Meeting with the Golden Bears

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Beginning a three-game week and continuing the team's season-long homestand, USC Upstate women's basketball welcomes its first first-time opponent of the season as Clinton College heads to the G.B. Hodge Center Monday evening. Tip-off between the Spartans and Golden Bears is set for 7 p.m. ET.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Heading a trio of double-figure scorers against Queens, junior guard Jeni Levine tied her season-high with 15 points, crafting the total behind a 5-of-10 shooting performance from the field. Saturday's game marked her third career game scoring 15 or more points, her second through six games in 2024, and her fourth game of the season passing out three or more assists as she dished out three apples versus the Royals. She averages 8.7 markers per game on the season while leading Upstate with 21 assists.
 
Clinton College: Leading the Golden Bears in their exhibition contest at Appalachian State, senior forward Diamand Moore-Heath put forth 10 points, the lone Golden Bear to hit double-figures. She leads Clinton College, averaging 15.5 points per game, one of two players scoring in double-figures, scoring 13 or more points in all six games she's appeared, topping out at 17 markers twice.

Concluding the team's four-game homestand, USC Upstate hosts the Spartan Shootout Thanksgiving MTE, hosting Bellarmine, Jackson State, and Morehead State. The Spartans face Morehead State Friday and Bellarmine Saturday with both contests tipping at 3 p.m. ET.
