Hodge Center for the final time in the calendar year and the team's non-conference slate, USC Upstate women's basketball returns home Thursday morning for the team's annual Education Day presented by Ingles. Thursday's game features an 11 a.m. ET tip-off as Upstate welcomes Lees-McRae to the Hub City.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Leading the Spartans with 10 points apiece Monday at Drake, freshman guard Olivia Forster and freshman forward Ava Miller became the first set of true freshmen to score in double-figures in the same game since Nov. 7, 2022. Supplementing their scoring totals, Forster totaled career-highs with four steals, three assists, and two made three-pointers while Miller totaled a career-high six rebounds.
 
Lees-McRae: One of two players to start all 10 games this season for the Bobcats, sophomore guard Nadiya Hairston pushed her season scoring average into double-figures, scoring a career-high 24 points in the team's win versus Erskine. She enters Thursday's game leading Lees-McRae in assists and steals with 23 apiece while ranking second among regulars in scoring at 10.0 points per game.

With the team's non-conference slate complete, USC Upstate turns its focus towards Big South play, returning to action to begin league play on Jan. 2. The Spartans host Winthrop in the conference opener with tip-off set for 7 p.m. ET.
