Players to Watch:
USC Upstate: The Spartans are coming off a 2-3 record from the second home tournament of the season where Upstate had two wins over Monmouth and fell twice to #15 Kentucky and Akron. Denver Lauer collected her first Big South Player of the week honor after she finished the week with six runs, six hits, eight RBI, three homeruns, and three stolen bases along with a .333 batting average, .429 on base percentage, and a .833 slugging percentage. Abby Polk earned her first Big South honor as she was named the Freshman of the Week after she finished the week with six runs, five hits, two RBI, four stolen bases, and five putouts along with a .357 batting average, .471 on base percentage, and a .571 slugging percentage.
#25 Auburn: Auburn sits within the top 25 national rankings after starting the season with a 7-2-1 overall record. The Tigers most recently went 3-1 in the Plainsman Invite after 8-0 and 13-5 wins over Southeast Missouri State and a 1-0 win over UNI. Amelia Lech leads Auburn so far this season with eight runs, eight hits, one double, five homeruns, 14 RBI, and 24 total bases along with a .364 batting average, .533 on base percentage, and a 1.091 slugging percentage.
North Texas: North Texas has started the 2024 season with an 8-7 overall record and is coming off a two-game win streak after a 5-3 win over UT Arlington and a 3-0 win over Stephen F. Austin to finish the UNT Invite. The Mean Green are led by Cierra Simon with five runs, nine hits, one double, one triple, one homerun, and two stolen bases as well as a .300 batting average, .405 on base percentage, and a .500 slugging percentage.

After the Jane B. Moore Tournament Upstate will take a break from tournament play to take on the Gamecock of South Carolina on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in Columbia, S.C. Upstate will play its last tournament in the form of the UNF Tournament Mar. 8-10.
