Koby Kropf delivered Upstate a midweek victory with a grand slam as he became the first Spartan to hit multiple grand slams in a season since redshirt senior first baseman
Grant Sherrod in 2023. He slugged a pair of home runs in an 8-5 win versus Queens, his second multi-home run effort of the 2024 season, tying him for the team lead with 12 home runs this season. He enters the weekend posting a three-slash line of .338/.429/.676 while hitting 12 home runs and driving home 47 runs.
Charleston Southern: Recording 51 hits over 129 at-bats, senior outfielder Cade Conway ranks second in the Big South with a .395 batting average, leading the Buccaneers in the category, while his 51 hits rank third in the conference. On the base paths, he's swiped 16 bases in 21 attempts, the lone Charleston Southern player with double-digit stolen base attempts he ranks second in the Big South in total steals.
