A look at the 2024 fall schedule for USC Upstate Golf

USC Upstate Men's and Women's Golf returns to action as Head Coach Todd Lawton unveils the fall 2024 schedule for both programs. The fall season will conclude for both programs with the Fripp Island Preview, hosted by USC Upstate, from November 2-4. This marks the first year the tournament will expand from a one-day event to a three-day competition.
Women's Golf, the Big South runner-up in April, will kick off their journey back to the top at Clemson in a 1-Day event on Monday, August 26th. They'll stay in state with a trek to Pawleys Island to play a familiar course, Caledonia, for the GolfWeek Fall Invite from September 8-10. September continues with the Elon Invitational (September 15-17) and a new tournament to the slate, Tot Hill Farm Invitational in Asheboro, NC, (September 21-22). Their penultimate fall competition will be at the Wofford Intercollegiate at Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg on October 21-22 before closing out the fall at the aforementioned Fripp Island Preview in early November.
The men's team begins their season at the GolfWeek Fall Invite, held September 8-10 at True Blue Golf Course at Pawleys Island. Next, they'll compete in the NC State's Wolfpack Invitational on September 16-17. The team will have two more tune-ups before the Fripp Island Preview, with the GMAC Invitational in Alabama (September 22-24) and the marquee event of the fall, The Johnson Group Carolina Cup, hosted by USC Upstate (October 6-8) at Carolina Country Club.

Hosting the Johnson Group Carolina Cup is a great win for our program, and Fripp Island is a perfect end-of-fall competition."
