Jacksonville, Fla. – Upstate Men's Soccer was on the road again, facing the University of North Florida Ospreys for a Tuesday night match. Despite being down early, the Spartans continued to battle and tallied a goal before halftime. Upstate outshot the Ospreys and earned a season-high six corner kicks compared to North Florida's three. The hard-fought match resulted in a score of 3-2 in favor of North Florida.
Dzenan Cerimagic took the first shot for Upstate six minutes into the match. A minute later,
Fabian Dietrich and
Ezra Hoffman would each put up a shot. Three minutes before halftime,
Adrian Panaite found the back of the net to tally his third goal of the season off a dime from
Liam Duggan and
Fabian Dietrich. Upstate continued an offensive push in the second half, allowing
Bradyn Cobb to net his first career goal.
Luke Marin played quality minutes for the Spartans, leading in shots on goal with three.
