Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Leading Upstate to a pair of sweeps and earning Spartan Classic All-Tournament Team honors, graduate student outside hitter Allison Palmi led the Big South in both kills and points per set last week, averaging 4.50 kills and 4.92 points per set. She posted 13 and 14 kills, respectively, against West Georgia and Idaho, totaling 27 kills behind a .288 hitting efficiency. She enters the midweek with 122 kills, leading the Spartans with 2.65 kills per set on the year, adding 89 digs, 17 total blocks, and eight service aces.
 
South Carolina State: Redshirt junior outside hitter Xaria Pickett enters Tuesday's match as the Bulldogs' leading scorer, tallying 92.5 points this season. She leads South Carolina State with 75 total kills (2.50 per set), reaching double-figures in three matches following a transfer from Temple CC. Her season-high came with 19 kills against Bethune-Cookman on Sep. 13.
