SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Closing a two-game homestand in the early portion of Big South Conference play, USC Upstate men's basketball returns to the G.B. Hodge Center Saturday afternoon, welcoming Radford for a 2 p.m. ET tilt. The series returns to the Hodge where three of the five meetings have been decided by five points or less, all decided by no more than nine points.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Posting the Spartans' highest-scoring game in conference play in nearly a year, freshman guard
Mister Dean finished two points shy of his career-best scoring total Wednesday with 23 points versus Presbyterian. The game marks his sixth 20-plus point scoring game of the season, the most by a Spartan since 2022-23. He supplemented his scoring total with eight rebounds, a career-high four steals, and a career-high-tying two blocks. He enters Saturday as the league's leader in steals per game during conference play, averaging 3.5 per contest.
Radford: The lone player this season with a 30-point game during Big South play, freshman guard Zion Walker enters the weekend as the reigning Big South Freshman of the Week. He poured in a career-high 30 points versus Winthrop, becoming the first Radford freshman in 30 years with a 30-point scoring game. He averages 6.6 points per game while shooting 50.6 percent from the field this season.
