Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Helping Upstate to 26 points in the paint and 48.7 percent shooting in Saturday's win over Longwood, redshirt sophomore forward
Vera Soderblom tied her career-high with eight points, finishing 4-of-7 from the field. She pulled in five boards and notched career-high totals for blocks, assists, and steals with three, two, and two, respectively. In Big South play, Soderblom shoots 45.5 percent from the field and leads the team in blocked shots with four.
Charleston Southern: The lone Buccaneer scoring in double-figures on the season, junior guard Catherin Alben averages 15.6 points per game, upping that total to a league-leading 20.0 points per game during Big South play. She's scored in double-figures in eight straight games, notching 20 or more points thrice in the stretch, including a career-high 29 points at Radford on Jan. 18.
