Players to watch

Senior Forward, Vitalis Takawira Jr. Has impacted Upstate Men's Soccer in his lone season with the program recently setting a new program record for the most assists (7) in a single season with the previous record being six. Takawira Jr. Leads the Big South in assists and ranked #10 with 13 points. Aside from his assists total, Takawira Jr. Adds three goals on the season which is tied second on the team with Lucas Bergfors and Oscar Kelly. The Highlanders will look to slow down the Spartans as Vitalis Takawira Jr. Looks to lead the offense over Radford.

Radford: Junior Forward, Kenshin Akimoto leads the Highlanders with six goals and is ranked fifth in the Big South with 14 points. Akimoto has led the charge for Radford as he carries the load on the offensive side and can keep teams guessing. Akimoto had a brace performance against Longwood on September 20th and scored four goals overall during Conference play. The Spartans will look to find a way to slow down the offensive firepower possessed by Akimoto on Saturday.

Up next for the Spartans

With seven points in the Big South for Upstate and four points for Radford, the Spartans will look to secure a win which will push their season to the Big South Men's Soccer Championships with official seeding scheduled to be announced late Saturday evening.
