RADFORD, Va. - Taking the pitch for the final regular season road match, Upstate Men's Soccer traveled to Virginia taking on Radford in Saturday afternoon action where both teams were head scoreless in a 0-0 draw. The result of the draw gave Upstate Men's Soccer a crucial point in the Big South Standing clinching a spot in the Big South Men's Soccer Championships for the first time since 2022. 
Opening the first half, Jacob Cromedy got the match going with an early shot followed Justin Vallejo taking a shot which both were off target. The Spartans defensively kept Radford stalled only allowing one shot in the first half, which was saved by Jarrett Wuerslin. Upstate continued to test Radford's defense in the second half as Oskar Kaufmann took his attempt on goal which was saved by the Highlanders. As time continued to move closer to the 90th with both teams scoreless, Upstate's offense increased their attempts with three shots on goal in the last 20 minutes. Radford was held scoreless through both halves, resulting in the match ending in a draw.
