SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Head Coach Carson Blackwelder has announced the full 2025-2026 track and field schedule. The Spartans begin the 2025 indoor season after concluding a strong outdoor season that saw the men's team finish as Big South Runner Up, with 14 different medals awarded across both teams.

Beginning the indoor season on December 6th, Upstate travels to Winston-Salem for the Visit Winston-Salem College Kick Off at JDL Fast Track. This is the fifth consecutive season the Spartans will compete in this meet.

Picking back up in January, the Spartans make the trip to Tryon International in Mill Spring, North Carolina, for the Tryon International Classic held January 16-17. The facility just completed construction on a new indoor track.

Closing out January, Upstate makes one of two trips to VMI, competing in the VMI Invitational January 23-24. Two weeks later, the Spartans return to Lexington, Virginia, for the VMI Winter Relays on February 6 and 7.

The last meet of the regular indoor season is the Tyron Mid-Winter Classic on February 13-14.

The Big South Indoor Championship will be held at Tryon International February 27-28, with the NCAA National Championships held March 13-14 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Beginning the outdoor season on March 20, Upstate makes the short drive to Charlotte for the two-day 49er Classic.

In the final meet of March, the Spartans travel to Davidson for the Davidson Relays on the 28.

The month of April sees Upstate competing in three different meets, the first being the Duke Invitational, April 10-11. The Spartans then travel to the Peach State for the Georgia Tech Invite held on the 17 and 18. Wrapping up the regular season, the team travels back to the Queen City for the Charlotte Invite.

The Big South Outdoor Championship will be held in High Point, N.C., May 11th-13^th.  

The NCAA East Prelims are scheduled from May 27-30 in Lexington, Kentucky, with the National Championships held June 10-13 in Eugene, Oregon.
