SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Hitting the court for the first time following the Thanksgiving Holiday break, USC Upstate women's basketball renews its series with former ASUN compatriot Kennesaw State as the Spartans travel to the Peach State for a 7 p.m. ET tilt Friday. The Spartans and Owls meet for the 22^nd time after meeting at least once from the 2007-08 to the 2017-18 seasons. Upstate holds a 12-9 advantage in the series.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Averaging 9.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per game over the team's past three contests, graduate student forward Aijah Palmore has proved a consistent presence for the Spartans entering the Thanksgiving break. She comes off a season-best 12 rebounds, helping Upstate pull in 74 total against Montreat, while adding nine points as she nearly secured her second consecutive double-double. On the season, she ranks second on the club with 5.8 rebounds per contest while averaging 5.3 points per game, shooting 50.0 percent (13-of-26) from the floor.
Kennesaw State: The lone Owl scoring in double-figures this season, graduate student guard Keyarah Berry enters the weekend as Conference USA's leading scorer, averaging 18.2 points per game. She's tallied at least 13 markers in all five Kennesaw State games this season, scoring 20 and 19 against Tennessee Tech and South Alabama, respectively, in the Owls' past two contests. Berry complements her scoring with 26 rebounds, 14 steals, three assists, and five blocks.
