SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Closing the non-conference portion of the team's 2025-26 slate, USC Upstate women's basketball returns to the road following the conclusion of its three-game homestand, making a trip to the Queen City for a meeting with Queens. The Spartans and Royals meet for the fourth straight season, dating back to the 2022-23 campaign, while wrapping Upstate's non-conference schedule for the second time.

USC Upstate: One of five double-figure scorers and one of three recording their first career double-figure scoring game Wednesday versus Agnes Scott, freshman guard
Kinley Paterson dropped a career-high 12 points against the Scotties. The game marked the third consecutive to see Paterson post a career-best scoring mark and saw her dish out a career-high nine assists, against zero turnovers. Paterson enters Saturday's game averaging 3.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game.
Queens: Entering play carrying a streak of six straight double-figure scoring games, sophomore forward Brenae Jones-Grant represents the Royals' leading scorer, ranking second in the ASUN in scoring at 15.1 points per game. The Cleveland State transfer also paces the ASUN on the glass, averaging a league-best 8.7 rebounds per game. Jones-Grant also ranks 13
th in the NCAA and tops in the ASUN in field goal percentage, shooting 60.8 percent (59-of-97) from the field.
