SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Renewing the Ingles I-26 Rivalry Series and closing the team's final multi-game road swing of the 2024-25 season, USC Upstate women's basketball heads north for its second meeting with UNC Asheville, a 6:30 p.m. ET tip at Kimmel Arena. The Spartans captured the season's earlier meeting between the clubs, winning 60-57 on Jan. 15, extending the Spartans' winning streak in the series to three.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Averaging a nearly identical 8.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game last week as she had the week prior, freshman guard
Gwen Jenkins captured her second straight Big South Freshman of the Year accolade, the second player this season to earn the honor in consecutive weeks. She notched her second career double-figure scoring game with 10 points last Saturday at Winthrop, her fourth game in league play scoring eight or more points. In Big South play, she's upped her scoring average to 6.1 points per game, shooting 45.3 percent from the field.
UNC Asheville: Despite seeing her streak of games scoring in double-figures—she scored nine points Saturday versus High Point, fifth-year forward Abigail Wilson is the lone Bulldog in Big South play averaging double-figures at 10.0 points per game. Overall, she ranks second in scoring (10.2 points per game) for the Bulldogs while leading her team on the boards, averaging 5.9 rebounds per game.
