Players to Watch

USC Upstate: Last week's matchups against Charleston Southern and Radford, Junior Guard Brit Harris led the Spartans in scoring averaging 16.5 Points through both matchups. Harris added 17 Points as the second leading scorer in Wednesday's matchup against the Buccaneers while shooting 7-for-12 from the field, 2-for-5 from three, and 100 percent from the charity stripe. Harris followed his play with being the leading scorer against Radford with 16 Points shooting 6-for-12 overall and 4-for-4 from the charity stripe. Harris continues to prove his worth as a scorer that can be depended upon whether if he is a starter or is the primary scorer coming off the bench. Brit Harris currently is the second leading scorer for the Spartans averaging 11.2 Points per game, 50 percent from the field, 33 percent from beyond the arc, and 89 percent from the charity stripe. Harris will be a key player that the Blue Hose will have to guard and contain throughout the matchup.

Presbyterian: Sophomore Guard, Kory Mincy has compiled two consecutive 20-Point games and has scored in double figures more than scoring in singles (Nov. 16, Jan. 8, Jan. 25). Mincy is ranked #9 in the Big South in scoring 15.0 Points per game and ranked #258 in the NCAA. Mincy's last outing against the Spartans was eight points, seven rebounds, one steal, and one assist. Mincy's 28 Points against NC State on November 8, 2024 was his season high and has shown versatility to move the ball getting his teammates involved being ranked #3 in the Big South with 4.04 assists per game. Kory Mincy will look to regroup against the Spartans and cause USC Upstate trouble on the offensive end.
