SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Closing a two-game homestand, USC Upstate women's basketball is back at the G.B. Hodge Center Wednesday evening, hosting Presbyterian in a 7 p.m. ET Big South Conference tilt. The Spartans look to snap a two-game losing streak in the series and defend its home floor for a fourth straight win at the Hodge in their series with the Blue Hose.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: After leading all league freshmen in field goal percentage (53.8), three-point field goal percentage (50.0), and free throw percentage (100.0), freshman guard
Gwen Jenkins brought home her first career conference weekly award with her Big South Freshman of the Week nod. She averaged 8.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game last week, posting career-highs in assists (five versus Charleston Southern) and rebounds (five versus Radford). In conference play she averages 5.7 points per game, leading Upstate in three-point percentage, hitting at a 46.2 percent clip.
Presbyterian: Upping her scoring average (from 13.1 points) in conference play, junior guard Kishyah Anderson leads the Blue Hose in scoring in Big South play, averaging 14.0 points per game. She's scored no fewer than eight points in each of her nine league contests, posting a season-high-tying 23 points last Wednesday versus Winthrop. On the season, she averages 13.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, ranking first and second among the Blue Hose, respectively.
