HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – USC Upstate women's golf took part in the three-day Low Country Intercollegiate this weekend, finishing 11th as a team.
Rylie Kosney led the Spartans, earning a top-25 finish with a scorecard of 233, going 75-85-73. Kosney finished the tournament second in the birdie category with a total of 10, including her three consecutive birdies in the final round of the tournament.
On the individual side,
Grace Garner also earned a top-25 finish, posting scores of 79-78-81 for a total of 238. In the second round of the tournament, Garner recorded her first collegiate hole-in-one for an eagle.
Alexis Rieli and
Madison Dixon both secured top-50 finishes.
Assistant Coach
Liza Eubanks had this to say after the tournament, "Very proud of Rylie and Alexis for the tenacity shown in their final round. They were in the top ten for today's round on a course that played tough all week. Also want to shout out Grace for making her first ever hole-in-one on #5 during round two. It was nearly a dunk! We are looking forward to using this tournament as a learning opportunity as we prepare for the Golfweek next week."

The Spartans will compete in the Golfweek Spring Invite, held March 31 to April 2.
