AUBURN, Ala. – USC Upstate men's golf began NCAA Regional Play today on The Plains, with rainy weather causing an almost two-hour delay.
The Spartans showcased perseverance in the first round, playing one of the most difficult courses they have seen all season.
Jackson Stone led the team in birdies with three and carded a first-round score of 75. Fellow teammate
Alec Prentice also shot 75, adding two birdies on the day.

UP Next for the Spartans
Upstate will set their eyes on round two, beginning tomorrow with the
Barrett Josey and the first tee time of 9:20 am.
