PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. –  Both USC Upstate men's and women's golf programs will compete at the Golfweek Fall Challenge September 7^th through 9^th. This is the first tournament for the men, and the second for the women.

Golfers to Watch:
Men: Ross Wright returns for his sophomore season after an outstanding freshman campaign that helped secure the first Big South Championship title. Jackson Stone looks to start his senior season strong.

Women: Suppatta Puttanavarat led the Spartans at the Tiger Classic earlier this season. Rylie Kosney was the other top performer at the Tiger Classic.

About the Course:
True Blue: Mike Strantz's fourth signature golf course opened in 1998. It was crafted to mimic Pine Valley and Pinehurst #2, with emphasis on maintaining a natural feel to the course. The par 72, 7,013-yard layout will be used for this year's tournament.

Caledonia Golf & Fish Club: Also designed by Mike Stantz, the course opened in 1994. Majestic oak trees can be seen along the course, giving it a rustic feel. This tournament will use a par 71, 6,075-yard layout.
 
UP Next for the Spartans
The women will compete in the Elon Invitational, September 15-16, at Alamance Country Club in Burlington, N.C. The men compete at the GMAC Invitational September 22-23 at Limestone Springs Golf Club in Oneota, Ala.
